FUEL Takes Best of Show in CR/IC American Advertising Awards Competition

Entering the American Advertising Awards competition is a great way for teams and individuals to gain recognition for their talent and ability. It can also be affirmation for agencies and clients alike that their work is hitting standards set by their peers.

Last year, after a 10-year hiatus, FUEL had returned to local competition, entering the American Advertising Awards competition on its 50th Anniversary.

After having a good night at the 50th Anniversary Awards banquet, we had closed our 2018 write-up with an open-ended challenge to ourselves… “How will we top it?”

We answered that question on February 22nd at Eastbank Venue + Lounge during the 51st American Advertising Awards show.

Once the show was over, it was clear that last year wasn’t just an anomaly.

FUEL’s winnings from Friday night shaped up like this:

2 Silver Awards

4 Gold Awards

5 Best of Category Awards

2 “Coveted” Judge’s Choice Awards

Best of Show Award

And the icing on the cake, Design Director Pat Prior was named Ad Person of the Year!

Congratulations to all! Thank you for bringing out our best!
