WHO WE ARE

FUEL is a branding and design agency based just north of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Since our founding in 2001, our team has worked tirelessly to deliver world-class work you’d expect from agencies in the big city, but from a smaller Midwestern town. 

We align ourselves with businesses and products we believe in. Specializing in brand development, we use design, strategy, digital marketing and advertising to help clients of all sizes thrive in everything they do.

HOW WE WORK

Our studio is open. The barriers to communication and interaction are intentionally few. In that spirit, we don’t have a layer of account service, as our experience shows it gets in the way. This means our designers work directly with our clients and fewer things get lost in translation.

The goal of evaluating a brand’s current state is to clarify assumptions, gain insight and identify new opportunities. We focus on getting to know your company, business environment, target audience and competitive landscape.

Effective strategy provides a central, unifying vision around all of your company’s behaviors and actions to ensure that all communications are aligned. We can help your company develop a road map of what your brand needs to do to meet business objectives and establish a defendable position in the marketplace.

A strong identity builds recognition, creates differentiation and projects the personality of your company both visually and verbally. Identity development includes naming, logo creation, establishing the visual style and tone of voice, and guidelines for usage.
