FUEL Partners with Tri-State Raceway

FUEL and Tri-State Raceway are proud to announce their partnership for the upcoming 2024 NHRA Summit Racing Series at the renowned ¼-mile drag strip in Earlville, Iowa. FUEL will be the Presenting Sponsor.

“Following FUEL’s sponsorship of seasoned NHRA Top Dragster driver Afton Swanson from mid-season in 2022 through the end of the 2023 season, we sought opportunities to bolster our support of Drag Racing closer to home in NHRA’s Division 5,” said FUEL’s owner and co-founder John Moes. “FUEL’s newly formed partnership with Tri-State Raceway aligns perfectly with this goal.”

Founded by Reid and Jane Kuhlman in the late ’90s, Tri-State Raceway stands as one of North America’s premier racetracks. Known in racing circles as one of the best-built and fastest ¼-mile tracks in the world, the complex also features a tractor pulling track and campground.

“Our collaboration with Tri-State Raceway allows us to expand our presence in motorsports,” said Moes. “Rather than focusing solely on one team, our efforts will shine a spotlight on the track and benefit all competitors, sponsors, the racing community and the sport as a whole.”

This season, brothers Lucas, Alex, and Ryan Fangmann from the prominent racing family, have been assuming a more active role in managing the Tri-State Raceway complex and operations.

They’ve put together a tremendous 2024 schedule including:

“Tri-State Raceway holds a significant place in Eastern Iowa’s motorsports history,” said Moes. “As a brand rooted in performance, FUEL is honored to contribute to its growth and future success.”
