FUEL Designs Chosen For Worldwide Anthology

FUEL stands among the giants of design in the latest edition of the respected Rockport anthology of the best letterhead and logo design. The 240-page hardbound book presents nearly 500 designs chosen from among 3,500 entries submitted by well-known design firms from all over the world.

Oxide Design Co., the Omaha-based firm chosen to create this year’s anthology, says it contains a collection of great design reflecting “ideas that are appropriate, well-executed and carry a thoughtfulness that will reward a second look.” Published every two years, the book serves as an inspirational resource for designers and design students, as well as a permanent historical record of excellent design.

FUEL designs accepted for Letterhead + Logo Design 12 include logos and/or stationery created for Whatsup Juggling, Bachman and Cedar Ridge Vineyards, Winery & Distillery — three long-time FUEL clients.

“Being chosen for this honor is a validation of the work we do for our clients,” says FUEL owner John Moes. “Our work compares on an international stage, and through our work we help our clients move to a broader stage.”

Oxide owner and AIGA design association national board member Drew Davies says he was delighted that FUEL emerged among the firms chosen for inclusion in the anthology. “FUEL is one of the best-kept secrets of the Midwest design scene,” he states. “They do absolutely some of the best work in the region and probably the nation.”
