We’re seeking a talented, versatile designer as we move into the next stage of FUEL.

This is a full-time, in-Studio role, based in downtown Cedar Rapids.

You will work inside a collaborative studio that treats brands as long-term assets. Many of our client relationships span years or decades, so the work often involves building and refining brand systems over time, alongside shorter projects with nonprofits and startups.

This role centers on brand strategy, identity, and expression. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation and fluency in print and digital design. You’ll also contribute to motion and video, web, social, environmental, packaging, advertising, and editorial as projects demand. Experience in these additional areas are a welcome plus, but not a requirement.

FUEL works across a variety of industries, including agribusiness, aerospace, architecture, aviation, construction, food & beverage, forestry, health services, industrial manufacturing, technology, and transportation, along with a number of non-profits. As a designer, you would interact with many different clients, tools, and steps of the design process — every day is different.
