FUEL Brands World Champion Juggler

As soon as Doug Sayers learned to juggle at age 8, it was obvious he had an exceptional talent for this challenging hobby. “He had the gift, and he just never stopped doing it,” says his mother, Cheryl Sayers. Years later, at age 21, Doug has earned a place among the world’s top jugglers, recently winning the World Champion title at the International Jugglers’ Association Competition in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Turning his passion into a living is his next challenge. “He’s transitioning from being a competitive-rank juggler into making it a career,” says Cheryl. Doug has developed a stage act that he hopes to perform in venues ranging from schools to corporate gatherings, and the Sayers turned to FUEL for help with marketing his distinctive skills.

“We came to FUEL with a plea for help. What we got was a plan for success. Their work creating the Whatsup Juggling brand will change Doug’s life.”

“We were looking for marketing materials,” Cheryl explains. “With someone else we would have gotten a brochure and been out the door in two weeks. FUEL brought a professional level to it and drew out things we hadn’t even thought of. They went way beyond what we expected, because they cared about Doug’s success.”

The “Whatsup Juggling” name and identity created by FUEL captures Doug’s persona as a street-wise, urban juggler whose approach is athletic, engaging and youthful, while emphasizing the precision of his phenomenal skills. The brand is expressed through Doug’s round business card, a promotional mailer that can be targeted to different audiences, a poster, a media kit and a website.“
