FUEL Attends ISU Career Day

FUEL designers Melissa Gavin and Pat Prior returned to their alma mater to share their experiences and offer advice to aspiring young graphic designers at the Iowa State University College of Design’s “Explore Graphic Design and Studio Arts” Career Day in Ames on February 27.

The two took part in a panel discussion on design careers and met with students to review their portfolios and talk about FUEL’s collaborative design approach. “It’s great to interact with students, give them input and share what we’re doing now a couple years out of college,” says Gavin, who graduated from ISU in 2007. Through career days and other events, FUEL strives to connect with young designers and encourage them to pursue opportunities in Iowa.
